First update to the popular AROS distribution Icaros Desktop 1.4 has been released. The new version comes with support to Windows XP shared folders; a faster, enhanced version of AROS OWB port and - as usual - some new games and applications.

There has been a fair amount of talk recently about unity and co-operation between all of the Amiga camps (OS3, OS4, AROS and MorphOS). Many of us are tired of the divisions that cause many arguments and slow down progess. What we'd like to see is more co-operation between developers and users, just like we had in the good old days.

The magazine Obligement published an interview with Pavel Fedin. He is speaking of recent and future improvements, like new hosted ports, screen dragging, kernel code merges, ACPI, memory management and other things.

Because of massive registering of bot/spam accounts (ive deleted over 60 accounts today alone) i see no other way out of it then blocking the registration of accounts using these email providers for the unforseen future:
