eGame r5 released

eGame now fully lives-up to it's description as a "Game Launcher", because it's now possible to add disk images & 'foreign' executables, and have them automatically loaded by the appropriate emulator (e.g. Hatari, DOSBox, VICE, E-UAE) or game system (e.g. Frotz).

RunInDOSBox r1 released

RunInDOSBox allows MS-DOS programs to be easily run inside DOSBox. You need to either use eGame, or a shell script, to start MS-DOS programs. (Actually you can also use RunInDOSBox as the tool of an icon.)

Note that eGame is compatible with RunInDOSBox, and provides a quick way of starting your (MS-DOS) games.

Tomorrow i get to sample packages. Jason worked and still work hard to enhance AROS m68k and the emulation side. Fabio Falcucci is proving again the flexibility of the Hollywood language.

eGame allows you to keep an easily searchable list of games for playing - rather than having to hunt through lots of folders using Workbench/Wanderer/Ambient. Please note that eGame is only able to start games that you can already run by double-clicking them.

Version 1.5 of the popular AROS distribution Icaros Desktop is now available for download. The new release heavily reworks file structure, installation procedure and M68K environment, which can now run both games from ADF files and classic Workbench applications without the need for original Amiga KickStart and operating system.

MUI Royale supports over 40 MUI classes including popular third-party classes like TextEditor.mcc and TheBar.mcc. Creating and managing menustrips is also fully supported. The plugin sets new standards concerning the ease of use because the GUI layout can be conveniently defined using an XML file that is converted into a MUI GUI by MUI Royale on the fly.
