Bug Reports:: Some problem with prefs network settings.
Maybe WirelessManager gives an error when the connection drops. To check this, disable starting networking at boot in Network prefs. After rebooting, run this:

C:WirelessManager atheros5000.device VERBOSE

Then this in another shell:

startnet

Then start a big download.

Bug Reports:: Renaming file that's marked "Leave out" bug
I had the same bug a week or so ago.. I did a rename on the icon on the desktop though, it changed the original files name but not the icons name, so it broke, like described above

Bug Reports:: AROS68k: zlib.library (68k/WOS) crashes immediatly
I will make a comprehensive testing and report the results.

I would assume HD-Rec has more problems, since it really squeezes out everything from the OS. (RTG, AHI, CAMD etc.)

There are some problems with icon loading, as far as I can see with NTUI, and for some reason it tends to freeze now and then...
I will probably start a new thread and keep you updated.

Bug Reports:: Problems with "edit"
I remember long ago we had a similar issue with edit. IIRC, it locked the file when using it but never released it before saving operations, leading to a silently unchanged file. But this bug should be gone completely.

Are you sure you havent protected the file somehow, or locked it with another process?

Bug Reports:: Parameter handling error
Quote:

Mazze wrote:
I'll open a ticket on the bug tracker.

Thank you.

From reading the report in the bugtracker it might be important to mention that the faulty printing of the error on v0 is not related to the dir command in any way. It does print this faulty message for several AROS shell command i tried such as also list.

It could be the dir ram: example to be more the culprit of the dir command itself ?

Bug Reports:: SKIP BACK again
If the scripting engine in question doesn't explicitly say that a newline is needed - then the "bug" (or misinterpretation) is in our engine.

Bug Reports:: play command doesn't play
@cavemann

I have the same problem. Trying to play an aiff sample with c:play returne a "Can´t open file.aiff as a Datatype object" message.

And with Multiview I get a small window with just an Ok button and no sound. Same samples play fine with Multiview under AOS3.5.

It seems an aiff.datatype is missing from Classes/Datatype in AROS. There is one in my AOS3.5 installation
