Hi,

Thanks for that.

Just curious do I take it there is not much interest from the community in this bounty. Or have I got that wrong?

Hi,

Think it was tested a few years ago but not a lot of support then, you could try now and see if the audio now works ?

Hi,

Curious if there was any interest at the moment for the above, I understand Kal attempted this a few years ago

MCM57xx Broadcom NetXtreme and II?? covering Dell D600 to D830 and maybe D510 to D530 and D410 to D430

Bounty ends when binary driver is tested with a few hardware options 32bit and 64bit and source placed in the AROS repositry

Unknown

Not sure if BCM57xxx would be as well ??

Can the driver be endian neutral ??

Regards
Jeff

Hi,

Atheros AR5BXB6 and the AR5BXB62 appear not to work from your testing. Now updated.

Can you give us an idea what type of card (mini pci pcie) you are looking for ?

Hi,

Thanks for this update.

Does anyone else get a blank background in native (install on a usb stick and running on a laptop) where any gma lvds mode of 24bit bgr0 produces the said black background with sometimes the pointer becoming invisible/white dot ?

Apart from that so far, enjoying it.

Hi,

Can I ask if you tried running OWB from RAM: ? Did it make any difference ?

Are you still using the Intel Project board - intel d945gsejt ? Seems the board takes laptop ram - has this ram been checked by any testing RAM software ?

OWB is not perfect but can be a lot of fun. Just a few last thoughts.

Hi

The D520 came in three revisions. AFAIK, rev00 (thin white label on the back) was 32bit and rev01 and rev02 were 64 bit.

Be interesting to see how the HP gets atheros'd.

Hi,

Thanks, there are graphical glitches - so I tend to refresh the page or close the tab all together.

Sorry to be pedantic but the gfx is that GMA or HD ?

Do you run the browser off hard disk or from RAM: ?
You can copy the owb directory to RAM: and start it from there. Does it make any difference?

Until the latest odyssey gets used by native 68k, morphos, os4 we will not be sure if some bugs are in odyssey, aros, or both.

@SuperChicken

I would not say it was completely unusable, but it does have a few annoying issues which I try my best to work around. I am glad deadwood spent a year working on getting owb to where it is now - just wished he had more time.

Can I ask how you are running 1.25. Native or hosted, how much ram do you have, which graphics driver you are using and which sites provide problems and how are these presented to you?

I must say video playback on websites like youtube is not as glitch free as I would like but I muddle through.

Jeff.

Hi,

Sadly, AROS does not have a driver for this chipset. Do you have any spare pci-e pci slots available for Realtek ethernet cards at all ? Possibly wireless usb ?

Jeff.
