Hi,

Been playing around with the Color Correction tools, it seems any settings used in one picture are transferred to any other picture loaded after (although not applied) rather than the settings being reset. Just wondered if this is a design feature ?

Undo-ing any changes (F12 and Z) does not revert the curve back to previous setting.

I should point out it is only the curve shape not being reset - everything else is.

It's like that by design, I've made the settings shared between the different tabs not to have to reset everything in case you want to apply similar processing to diffeent pictures.

I am using the example picture(s) at the bottom of this page

to mimic and test my approach at white balance but I seem to be only able to change a small section rather than adjust the whole picture. What am I doing wrong?

Jeff

Changes are applied to current selection, you should hit the "RAZ" button at bottom of the interface to ensure no selection is defined if you want the effect applied to the whole image.

Installed and tested shortly.
It looks good, sometimes a bit slow, but I need to use it more to see if it will become my AROS code editor.

Looking at how I can rework the GUI to fit smaller screens, I came up with this layout:
Click to see original Image in a new window
http://hpics.li/b6b7821

Is this suitable?
Is there any other things you would like to have modified in the GUI?
Any hints on enhancing the usability?

Thanks a lot,
Yannick

Hi Yannick,
Many thanks for the update. ZunePaint is now my daughter's favourite drawing package, and she's enjoying creating using it.

My kids are also my first testers of the app!

I've noticed a couple of problems, though, which you may already be aware of. Firstly, when I've tried to save an ILBM it just saves an empty file (0 bytes) - the latest version of ZuneView also does the same.

Oops, saving to ILBM doesn't work yet, I thought I've removed the option, I'll make sure it doesn't appear until it will be working.

Secondly, the icon bar at the top of the window is extending off its ends for me (the window is already as wide as the screen, 1024 pixels) - please see below.

I still need to tidy up the interface so that it fits on smaller screens, one option is missing in Zune at the moment that could help (MUIA_HorizDisappear)
I'm hesitating to reduce buttons size, I want to keep them easy to read and understand by kids.

@Jeffrey

You can "combine" selection areas in Magic Wand mode by keeping the shift key pressed.
I'll add this possibility in Lasso mode also.

@Jeffrey
I'll think about effect on text, no promise

@Kalamatee
I haven't looked at lodepaint in a while, I'll check if there's any updated version and try to compile it again. I thought it has been added to ports by Mazze.
