Hybris and Battle Squadron were two of my favorite games on the Amiga! I had no idea there was a sequel to either!

I had OWB crash with a "Please insert Disk 7" error. But that was the only crash I've had, and I've had AROS up and running full time for 3 days.

I had problems using two partitions for System and Work. My system wouldn't boot either, so I just have one partition and it works great.

I finally got around to installing 1.4 and I have to agree with Tommy, AROS has become a completely different user experience than just a couple of years back! Excellent, Excellent, job to all of you who made this possible! Now if I could only figure out how to make the clock 12 hours instead of 24....

Amiga Research Operating System, I guess we shouldn't forget that its a work in progress. I've been using it for a few years now, and even use it for my business on my netbook when I'm out in the field. XDelusion, I'm not sure that AROS needs a disclaimer, its already in its name, the "Research" part of it. The developers are volunteers, who work for nothing, out of their homes. I guess if you see something that needs fixed, learn how to fix it, or contribute. I read this forum everyday, and there isn't any type of "hype" on here. If there is, its because its a milestone for the people who contribute to the code with their own time and seeing their work actually work. Your own profile says you joined in 2004, you sound like you just made it to this party.

Is there a Google+ page for AROS? Google+ to me at least, is more professional than Facebook, and there seems to be a more open community there. Perhaps someone should set one up?

@clusteruk I think the foundation was a great idea personally. Look at what Libreoffice has done with theirs. Non profits will always be able to go after the cash easier than just asking people to donate. Perhaps there would have been some grant money available? Foundation could have used interns from universities to write code, and get college experience.

I can honestly say that I let AROS run for days and have had no, zero, none, crashes or hangs! I agree, beta is over.
