General amiga forums just tend to spiral down into pointless arguments and trolling anyway.

I appreciate that there is a dedicated AROS site like aros-exec.

That depends on who is moderating said site, there has been more then one attempt of that here as well but i choose to eliminate individuals who can not behave.

This might give less activity but i prefer quality over quantity any day of the week :).

The traffic might be lower than it once was, but I and probably other regulars really enjoy the site.

Can only agree.

Good to hear there are still some out there who enjoy using this site :).

Is it time? Is it money? Can we help?

Thank you very much anyway 4Play for all what you have done and are doing for ae.

I do have some time right now but i do not have the money i would need if i wanted to redo this site the way i would like to.

For one i would have liked to get a better CMS system.

VBulletin is one i have been taking a peak at but it costs 249USD, something i just can not shell out on my own right now.

As i said earlier i am still doing some thinking about what i should do, one could be that i opened a more general Amiga forum where AROS Exec was part of that site but i guess not everyone would welcome that idea .

Please do not move this site to Facebook.

I have no plans on moving it there, i merely mentioned that the poularity of FB is one of the reasons this site has less traffic =).

I am aware of the issue and other issues as well, they are not likely to be fixed anytime soon either. Right now i am doing what i can to just keep it online.

I have been considering what to do with this site but i have not yet decided.

The traffic is not what it used to be either, there are several reasons for that, one being that people seem to prefer using Facebook for everything these days.

1. never use it anymore

2. none

3. none

4. Stability with both OS and applications, i just can not use an OS/Application(s) that for odd reason do weird things/have major bugs/keep taking the system down. The most important thing is system stability and drivers, without these things the rest is pointless from my standpoint.

Does anyone know who has the power to OK site registration attempts?
Should be automatic when not using one of the 'blacklisted' mail providers.

Other than that and afaik both 4play and impy are indisposed atm

did the user checked his spam folder ? (seems to happen sometimes).

I am still here even though i am not super active writing in the forum anymore :). As for the question, i can see no failed register attempts, have the user try again and post a screenshot of what happens to my PM.
