Yes, I did and checked this.

Maybe someone can check this with ubuntu. I had no sound issues with vbox 5.1.26.

With Ubuntu as VBox host or guest? If the latter, I guess you could do that.

Have you selected AC97 for units 0 to 3 in AHI prefs, as well as the music unit?

If you had a "Work" partition on your USB drive, it could conflict with a "Work" partition on an internal disk.

I assume that rebooting after running your command will reset the clock multiplier, making that option for booting AROS nonviable. As AROS's kernel complies with the multiboot spec (IIRC), the problem becomes more generic: find a way to boot a multiboot kernel from your environment. Or find a way to launch GRUB(2) from there without rebooting.

D620, D820 and newer models (Core2 Duo) should work fine too, not sure about 3D graphics though (GMA3100).

GMA3100 should have 2D acceleration, but no 3D.

I think that's the way it's designed. Or at least, it doesn't have the same features as the AmigaOS clock.

Great! I'll look into backporting X11 changes to ABIv0, as they seem important for recent Linux distros.
