Is it even required?

YAM and Simplemail NEED it to connect to secure mail servers.

In case you hadn't noticed AROS developers have their hands full with much more interesting stuff at the moment.

No Aros developer is interested (it seems) in solving the issues when building it for Aros.

VPDF source code is already in Contrib. IIRC I was stuck because of some missing Zune functionality. Thank you for your offer to help. I might give it a try in some weeks.

Any news ??

IMPORTANT NOTE:
This release comes with binaries for the AmigaOS4/PPC and AmigaOS3/m68k platform only. Unfortunately, due to lack of motivated developers we couldn't provide working binaries for the MorphOS/PPC or AROS (PPC, i386, x86_64) platform in time. If you are, however, interested in seeing AmiSSL v4 being ported for these other Amiga-based platforms, please try to find motivated and talented developers who could join our team as proper maintainers for these alternative platforms. In addition, if you are a MorphOS or AROS developer yourself, feel free to send proper pull requests to see your platform supported in one of the next releases or please consider joining our team.

YAM and SimpleMail use AmiSSL APIs to connect to secure mail servers.
So, it's important to have AmiSSL 4 on AROS as well !

@michalsc:

great work !!

Another interesting test case would be to encode an H264 video by making ffmpeg use multiple cores.

@Deadwood:

When do you think you 'll have a bit of spare time to dedicate to Odyssey ?
I'm enjoying Odyssey for web surfing, but there are some sites that don't work properly (eg. Google Maps).

I think this useful utility has a bug, as it does not seem to recognize the tooltype "stack" !

I encountered a bug when extracting a zip file (try this http://archives.aros-exec.org/share/u ... ench/wbxcli-i386-aros.zip as an example).

It gives an error message saying "name of file exists as directory"; then I press the "Skip" button and the files are extracted normally.

While waiting for the complete ABIV1 transition (which WON'T happen overnight), the "abiv0 refresh" should be made more frequently (at least every 2-3 months, instead of 2 years)!
