@Miker

I would like to see both for Aros, your Icon program and a fully working Multiview.

In the AROS datatype system DTM_Write is still missing. And since multiview is using the datatype system it can not save atm.

See in this link

No, that AfAOS (and the few parts of AROS68k in it) works, is known since 2010! Now 7 years later AROS68k itself has made AfAOS obsolete.

On your AfAOS setup the game uses AGA (like wawa said)!

What graphic chip do you use for your AROS68k system on WinUAE? OCS/ECS or AGA?

@amiga

You do not update AfAOS but your applications. AfAOS is not updated since 2009/2010 like I already wrote! Again, this has nothing to do with the current state of aros 68k. Please start another thread if you want to discuss AfAOS!

If Toni is aware of possible problems, I am sure, that he will start to find a fix. That is important for the current state of aros 68k!

Btw ArosVision is also a "hybrid" of Aros68k and AOS3! And I had no problem to install it last time I tried...

@amiga

What you want is a distribution for AROS68k. Until now such distribution does not exist. This situation is comparable to a pure AOS3 installation, that is no problem, but lacks many user friendly extensions and programs.

Ciao amiga,

thank you for your answer! AROS68k-Devpack is not a "current state of aros 68k". It is a "cross-compilation environment under Linux" as Deadwood said (in the message that you linked to) and it includes a FS-UAE environment which contains a "basic pre-configured development environment for 68k". It is only intended for 68k-developers and not an up to date and complete AROS68k system for general users. I would recommend to test a current nightly build of AROS68k because there has been a lot of development and fixes lately. For 68k developers I hope that someone has the time to update this Devpack. Unfortunately I am not a C developer and can not help here.

AfAOS is even older than AROS68k-Devpack. It is a kind of extension library for AmigaOS with AROS68k funcionality. It replaces some AmigaOS components with AROS counterparts (for example antialiased True-Type fonts). It is a patch and it was last updated 2009/2010. And, imho, AfAOS is not needed anymore.

THIS

But this is not directly related to the topic, which is discussed here. So, what do want to say with your link?

Hello and welcome! It is great to see a new (potential) developer, who is interested in AROS! Have fun!
