The next AEROS and indieGO!-OS updates will include this as well.
Users of all other operating system including AROS, AmigaOS and MorphOS can download the client from www.indiego-gaming.com

New in this version:
- You can switch languages (english, german, italian)
- Info window with links to our support forum and project pages
- build with Hollywood 7

The idea being AmiWallet is to allow users to donate or manage indieCoins (used in the indieGO-appstore) aka Amicoins.

It is not intended to act as a general payment method. It is more like a "custom" regional paymanet system to keep the money inside a system to strengthen it and motivate developers.

So you can only send /donate money to registered developers and not to other normal users.
indieCoins are equal to 1€ when being payed out as a developer (which is possible from www.indiego.rocks )

indiecoins can be bought digitally or as gift cards and starting from the next AEROS and indieGO!-OS you can optionally participate in our mining Pool. The payout happens whenever you reached 100 indieCoins.
The miner is disabled by default. It will also use only one core by default when you enable it because the idea is to have it running in the background without disturbing the general experience (so it is only working on AEROS or indieGO-OS right now).
Click to see original Image in a new window

Starting tomorrow I will add the download URLs here.

Update is live now!!

Before updating:

Please check /home/odroid for a file called "updatearc.zip" . Delete it. Also in case you find "updatearc.zip.1" or "updatearc.zip.2" and so on.. the more often you tried updating in the past, the more of this numbered files will be there

They are results of a typo in an older update. I am sorry for this..
But as long "updatearc.zip" stays there, it will prevent downloading the new archive because wget (the downloader) will automatically rename the new archive while downloading. My fault...

Changes:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sK9Bb2o3lE8

Improved PSX direct CDROM support and performance:
- Compiled for CortexA8 using NEON
- Uses new OpenGL wrapper
- Raised CDROM read cache from 32 to 64
- Force PSX now finds the correct drive (in case the game is splitted in CDA and DATA track)
--> this is not the same emulator which is used by emulation station. (BIOS ROMS GO SOMEWHERE ELSE FOR IT - > REQUIRED FOR MAX COMPATIBILITY)
If you like to change settings like Joypad Layout /Controls, you need to add a keyboard and press ESC.
Under "controls" you can set the Joypad layout / Map your pad.
It should work out of the box with the delivered pads, but in case you use something else it may be required. Don't forget to save "globaly" .. The emulator has also an option to "save game dependent" settings.

Teamviewer access (got a problem? Need support? The easiest way is to access your system and solve the problem directly : ) ):

https://youtu.be/pzd-wY1c7d4

New Options in Settings:
- Install Teamviewer -> installs Teamviewer

-Run Teamviewer -> runs it -> tell us your User ID and shown PIN-code, so we can access your console remotely to give support (not 24/7 of course)

- Update i386 subsystem -> updates the i386 components -> For example ca-certificates which prevented Spotify from working when they are outdated.

- Main Menu has been updated by Fabio and includes many improvements. The first visible one is the theme support.
-> Press t = theme on a keyboard and choose another one to switch it.
Hava a look at /home/odroid/FSLauncher/FSL/themes to modify exiting ones and learn how to arrange item and more.
I would be glad if we can add soon some user created themes.

Another big improvement is the possibility to change resolution on the fly to improve emulation speed and than revert back to normal.

As requested I have added the old way "prio Version 1.5.9" to preload AmigaCD32 games.
It is faster but not as accurate than the other way. If it works, it works : ) So feel free to use it instead of the "bullet proof but slow" option.

Theoretically I will be there.. theoretically
If you like I can donate you my ticket for one table as well as the after show party. Better than wasting it if I can’t attend

AEROS update incoming
AEROS 5.0 "piggy bank" will introduce a mining option. You can choose to activate background mining. You will have two options:
1. Mine to donate (the resulting coins will stay in our pool)
2. Mine to earn (you will get indieGO!-Coins which can be used in the appstore or can be donated by yourself to any participating developer

The feature is "off" by default. If you enable it, only one core will be used but you can decide to use more.

Besides this you will find an updated system and if you activate exagear a nice way to play old PC games even with 3D acceleration.

1gb Ram is your Problem.
You need at least 2gb to experience the less buggy experience possible.
Why?
Aros has no things like virtual memory. Web usage easily breaks the 1gb requirements with hyml5 content, java script JIT and other things.

I've got the Info that the live cards are not supported anymore ..
I have now ordered a used SB 128 pci

I've forgotten my notebook at work so I wasn't able to burn a Broadway disk today. Thought the same... especially the old one 0.86 prior the abi v1 backport would be interesting.

Aros lost a bit of its Lametta during the years : )

Edit
Yes disabled everything, tried switching from Uefi to bios legacy wherever possible.. tried every switch. -> live cards don't work

Oh common ....
I tried another board which gives no sound at all but what pisses me off is that even a sound blaster live gives just a woodpecker sound..
Waaaahhh!
This worked before (~ 2 years ago )
I've tried another sound blaster live and same woodpecker sound.

In fact I have now tested 5 sound blaster lives..
Nope now 6...

Crackling and screeches and if I play a video and stop via mplayer.. the sound goes on .. very Long and it sounds as if your speakers explode.
Mplayer cant be quitted as long this sound massacre is going on..
I am curios if it belongs to intel speed stepping?

The CPU is an i7 at 4ghz so power should not be a problem.

If a dev is interested to check it, I can donate a board and CPU .
Could be a good entry level board. Also I believe this failure is present on more boards.. back then ncafferkey fixed a similar behavior for the AresOne m1300 .. this "sounds" the same way .. maybe worse.

in ahi prefs i need to press 3-4 times on "play test sound" before it starts, but then it also crackles.
