the source is in my local folder on another machine i must admit, but i am inclined to look into it. atually i already started months ago but got interrupted. these days i will return to it again i hope. since kalamatee has prepared a makefile that probably only needs minor fixes. chances are good to get it working soon.

I think you should ask O1i before doing this. We didn’t want the old version on ABI v1.

Kalamatee: Ok I see. That is maybe why it is not in ports.

wawa: If you make it work I be glad to have a binary of the old version to play around with until the new Janus version are in ports :)

The old version was never built inside the AROS source tree, so there are no mmakefiles for it.

The old version also depends on glib and gtk-mui, at least gtk-mui was never available for v1.

So janus-uae 1.x and gtk-mui would have to be ported to v1. Feel free to do it, but this stuff is really old now, I won't touch it anymore, (really) small bugfixes might be possible, if Paolo begs really hard. Other than that, janus-v1.x is v0/32-bit only.

But the sources are available under GPL, so feel free to do , whatever you like with them. I can give you SVN access to the 1.x tree, if you want to port it. Gtk-mui is not even converted to SVN, it is still CVS on sf.net, no idea, when the last real update happened. So no write access possible here.

@o1i

im talking about your current source, you even gave me an access to the repo, remember? its now months back, i got distracted, but it might be worth looking at it again.

i admit i dont remember details, in fact gtk-mui came into the game somehow.

current source is v2.x

Title speaks about 1.4, which is the old Janus-UAE integrated into Icaros.
