It will depend on the chosen configuration (CPU,RAM,HD,additional GFX-card and so on)
Also it depends on the prices vesalia have to pay for this. I will show prices for some example configs soon. Have to clear things out with vesalia. BTW it is from Lian Li too, and a real nice one with optimized cooling, and some other goodies. Brushed aluminium , no sharp edges, really nice.

As cool as this sounds, I will buy one just as soon as Aros can use all that power. I just can't see me spending that kind of money and only get 1/6 of the use from it. Sorry.

Hmm?? No!!! it is tarting with a 2,7GHZ single-core! ; ) 6-core is just an option!
Starting from very cheap but very good for AROS 2,7GHZ over to Athlon64 X2 6000+ (3GHZ) over Phenom Blacke Editon with 3,4GHZ each core upto 6core is everything possible. The 2,7Ghz is a very cheap start and fast (it is in reallity an AthlonX2 with deactivated second core - you can activate the second core via BIOS) It will not cost more than a SAM but brings around 5 times more under AROS. Now it's your turn ; ) It is scalable in terms of money and performance. And it manages fullHD 1080p even in the low budget version. If you start with high demanding stuff like HD-videos and maybe emulation (DOSBOX, UAE) you will like to have every bit of extended performance.....

I found some video reviews about some cases....
I like the Lian Li cube and will show the red one in Essen, together with a MediaCenter case. Pleas notice that this clip shows only the windowed versio, a version without is also available:

A friend of mine, and technician at vesalia will fix those typos. I'm thinking about a limited discount for new AmigaFuture subscribers...i like this mag and if more people would read it the better it would be.

@phoenixkonsole
That motherboard is Asus M4A785TD-M with 785G and SB710 chipsets and they are discontinued (at least where I live). It also has a big brother with 3 PCI slots. These are nice mobos. I'm looking at building my own Phenom II based PC that would run AROS and possibly Haiku. I'm having difficulty finding out what newer chipsets for AM3 boards are playing nicely with AROS, that is, audio and LAN working and SATA drives supported (in legacy mode). Would AMD 790G/F/X and SB750/S work? How about nForce 7xx or 8xx series? I know there is wiki hardware compatibility reference for AROS but these chipsets are mostly listed as untested, possibly working. Has anyone actually tried?
