I had considered a lack of VRAM, but cant for the life of me work out how to change this within the BIOS. Looking online there's some references to it, but despite updating BIOS to the most recent one from ASUS site still doesnt give me any options to change VRAM. I have added the tooltype FORCE_GALLIUM=128, and 128 meg does vanish from fastram.

I didn't think FORCE_GALLIUM (or is it FORCEGALLIUM?) took an argument. Sami?

maybe unsigned/signed bug somewere.

Some progress,
I found that gfx memory base address is
adjustable by device registers,
if i set my acer base address to 0xd0000000
gallium crashes similar way.
dont know yet why,

but there is workaround,if upper bit is set to 1,register is adjusted,
please try this driver:
http://koti.mbnet.fi/tunnus2/IntelGMA

BTW, maybe this also cures Samsung NC10 etc. 3D problems...

I tried to test it, but am a bit unsure as how to use it
I assumed it'd be a hidd that would go in devs, but seems Im mistaken?

Also, do I need to remove the .txt extension?
Thanks.
