Hi,
Are there any examples to create .hidd and .devices files somewhere ? (i'm especially looking for the makefiles and how to use the .conf files)

I would like to create .hidd, .device, .handler and being able to compile them individually not through the aros source distrib (i need to do that on aros native in order to test them obviously and the aros compilation process stops with an assertion here) so i need to know how to craft the relevant makefiles and .conf in order to do that.
The makefiles chain present in the aros source is seriously not friendly regarding this, like apparently there's some extra tools required to craft .hidd (to parse the .conf maybe ?)

Obviously that wasn't enough as there's still some problems and the os refuses to load the driver, does anyone know exactly what should be crammed into .hidd files ?
Also is there a shell command to test drivers functionalities ?

It's the same driver (not the same size probably due to different compiling parameters, tho).

@hitchhikr
It would be great for AROS to have another drivers expert around. I read you plan on extending the Ati driver to support your Ati card. What type of card is it you plan to support ? Is there any chance you could toss in support fot Radeon X800 GTO too ?  Just asking cause I have a spare one here.
