That .db file is actually the executable, I forgot to remove the extension. It's supposed to mean "debug".
BTW, don't forget to copy wolfconfig.cfg too into main besides the PK3 files, or create one, with "seta r_mode 3" in it, because the game won't start without it.

BTW, are you aware that there is HostGL module for AROS Hosted? This uses the hosts 3D system to render. This would make your testing much easier :)

Isn't that only for Linux? Although once I tried it with the Virtualbox -> Linux -> AROS hosted triplet, and it worked if I remember correctly... well it can't be slower than softpipe!

Try VMWare->Linux->AROS. VMWare has 3D hardware acceleration bridge to host system so you should be getting real 3D under AROS as well.
