Freelook works just fine!!! :)

Go into Options-Mouse Options
And set it to Mouse Type: Zdoom

Then

Always Freelook

And

Vertical movement off

Also, My work on Alien Breed 3D is functioning just fine as well. You could not have released this at a better time!!!!

XDelusion: I have been tricked by all the coop servers with freelook disabled. What's the deal with that?
I'm glad your TC also works. I'll probably put PrBoom+ on an indefinite hold, there are too much weird problems with it.

BTW, if you are annoyed by the developer messages, you can type "developer 0" into the console to turn them off. I'm not sure if it will be saved to the config file or not.

Yep, the last time I played DOOM on-line a lot of servers seemed to prefer to play things in classic mode, which means no jumping, no looking.

Of course if I ever get back on-line at home (jobless don't look like it's going to happen soon), we can begin to host our own games with all the jumping and free look that you want! :)

BTW, when you try to resize the window, it crashes.

So be warned, do not press - or + in game!!!!! :)

Now to just get this to the point where I don't need to reset AROS every time I'm done playing. :)

AWESOME WORK!!!!!!! I was up all night last night thankx to you!

Currently the server isn't included, and I don't know if you can host listen games from the client.

Regarding the screen resizing thanks for the report. I'll try to figure out why does it crash.

And you don't have to reboot AROS after you've done playing. You can always click away the 30+ "Memory freed twice" error requesters!

Seemed more like 100+. A game in itself. :)

Of course, think of it as an exercise for the next game.

Dunno if you are still cranking away at this gem but Odamex just got an unexpected update.

The multiplayer centric Doom engine Odamex has officially moved to version 0.6.1. This release contains many bug fixes in addition to new features. Some of the standout features are support for announcers in CTF games, enhanced spectating options, and greater support for ZDoom 1.23 specials. A number of changes in this release also affect what the player will see. More precise rendering will prevent tearing of long, straight lines. Players can also now resize their screen to any size by dragging the edges or maximizing the window. A full list of changes can be found on the release page or the in-depth changelog.

Nice, I'll update my port soon. Hopefully some AROS-specific bugs will also disappear (the lazy man's dream, huh).

You never know, it might smoothe out some of those wrinkles! :)

I need to hit up the Odamex forums, they broke support with some old ZDOOM TC's that should fully be supported. I.E. Star Wars - Darkest Hour by: Rex.

I had waited so long for the slope support then finally when it arrived they broke something else. :/
