Not all videos are seen well, the vision is still slow and the payer does not manage well.

On Nightly Build i do not see "developer/debug subdir"

wawa: thx again for your work on odyssey.

I have not tested much yet but gmail I can not log into but yahoo mail worked :)
Just a notice is that the first version is faster than the last one where you enabled some debug.

What I have done before is to include a more recent version of ca-boundle.crl
that is just to replace with the older one and make odyssey download aros night builds. If not updated you can not download from sourceforge.

I be back with more.

edit: Just a little note for those that might not know it javascript jit engine is disabled in odyssey icon tooltype by default. Enable it and javascript will be faster.

I don't know if there are other options when you compile odyssey to enable mmx, SSE or simelar.

edit:

Whoow Facebook works now :D

AROS should already include an upto date ca-bundle.crt in ENV:SYS/Certificates, that OpenSSL and Curl are configured to use.

It works to access https://www.google.co.uk, so probably gmail needs the browser to spoof another client.

Kalamatee: Thank you.

In odyssey Certificate path is:

PROGDIR:curl-ca-bundle.crt

That should be changed then.

actually shouldnt make noticeable difference. i added some printout only in one file to watch the program load. if you think it is slower. take the previous file (odyssey.tar.gz, instead of odyssey.iso) its still there. but much more significant for loading speed is when parsing many huge fonts. just check your font folder for those and try to move them temporarily to some backup dir.

dunno. tell me;) i can add specific flags to i386 target, but it might reduce overall compatibility of binary, which id prefer to avoid. besides, we are not for benchmarks here now, we want to make it work without too much people complaining it doesnt, while it would be difficult to find out for me, if its just their system doenst like code compiled with some flag.

i just said that it was slower on a vm machine in comparison to host pc browsers, which goes without saying i think. especially as we dont have support for a number of features such as multicore support (on i386) or specific cases of hardware acceleration that might be expected .
