Its been a while since I looked into it, but there is some Amiga MIDI (camd.library stuff) built for AROS, but maybe no native (soundcard joystick port type interface) drivers for PC hardware? and noone's tried or documented support or the lack therof for USB based midi devices yet?

Sorry for bumping such old thread, but i happen to like bnp

Can the recent wildmidi library from BSzili be of help in this matter ?

I saw on hitchhikr's site that latest bnp is from 19/6/2012.

Port HD-Rec!

It does not need MIDI to make music Sweeper and MacroWave are way better than Timidity. Plus it can do audio recordings (as the name suggests...)

It is mostly working, but some glitches remain. I havent looked closer into resolving them, since AROS is still not really usable on my system (WinUAE). I mean, HD-Rec is quite a beast of a software, with dsp effect libraries, plugins etc., which you cannot test and debug in a few minutes/hours.
