A small update: fixed a bug which prevented the music from restart when toggling it on/off. The game still crashes sometimes when you exit, I have yet to find the cause of this.

I've not read through this whole thread yet, but thus far it is impossible to go into Wide screen mode at 1024x600 without locking up my system.

Also when playing, like in glQuake and Quake III, wall textures are missing till I walk up on them. Though again I think it is because of the lack luster Video Chip Set in my Eee PC 900.

Going to sell this puppy and get an Aspire One again...

I never was much a fan of that hardware, but it seems to be the best supported portable hardware atm.

In the mean time I'm going to go home and throw this port at my varios graphic cards on my home machine.

That's got to be some video card related issue. I tried a lot of resolutions, even weird ones like 1024x200, and they all worked.

I agree, I think the Ecc PC 900 is more suited for things like Giana's Return and ScummVM, not so much 3D games.

I fixed the "Memory header not located" crash at the end of the game. I simply forgot the close the midi handle before starting to play a new song. Am I stupid, or what? As far as I'm concerned, MIDI support is fully functional now. Time to fix some issues with resolution switching.

Edit: I'm also planning to backport a few features from Eduke32. The one I'm after is automatic aspect-ratio correction for widescreen modes, which works with both the software and the polymost renderer.
