New version with working mod-support. You have to start the game with:
Quote:
quake2 +set game modname


I also included support for the unofficial Quake2 mission pack: Zaero.

Get a black screen as well with the old drivers (cannot crate?? a 640x480 gl context) and a cubist type of view with latest ones.

I have a graphics card which needs a backwards revision of nvidia drivers. So cannot do much testing at the moment. But enjoying what you are doing.

I had to increase stack. The one given in the default script was too low, I had blank screen with it.

May be that is the case, and You should try increasing stack to, for example, 3000000 (that for sure will be enough).

No worries, it was most likely caused by the too low stack size. Please report back if it works with the new icon, or not (1 meg stack).

Uploaded a new version. It includes native renderers, and a few improvements (hor+ widescreen, gamma in software, small bugfixes). The SDL-based refreshers are also included, if someone wants them. They are more well tested, but they are also a 10-20% slower than their native counterparts.
