About this update.
New utility to allow dual analogue control gamepads to be used on Linux-hosted AROS, e.g. to play Tower57 (stegerg

What would it take for it to work on native AROS?

I'd say that some sort of new gamepad API is needed. Should not be too difficult if agreement on it's workings is achieved.

truly. quite an amount of work gets currently done on aros, a lot more than this summary may suggest. in the meantime, you can also observe the commits underway directly here:

Dizzy: That would be very welcome. Is it not just to do it if someone are interested. If it works it works. If you do it I give you 50£
Maybe others also would put some money into this.

Hi nikolaos,

If you want to pay someone to do create that gamepad API, you could set a bounty for it.

Mysha: Nope. I don't like the bounty system for AROS related jobs. I rather find someone to do it and collect the money.

niko is right. too much money parked on partly outdated bounties that will never be completed. the mandatory is to have someone who will actually pick up the task.

Hey, if the current system of bounties doesn't work, redistribute the wealth, improve the system, start a new thread about it. I just saw the benefit of asynchronous handshakes over synchronous ones.
