on Intel Core2 Duo E8500 with nvidia GTS 250:
timedemo demo2

Fullscreen (dirty graphics from 800x600 and in 1280x1024 the screen is splitted)
640x480: 359,2 fps
800x600: 323,3 fps
1024x768: 265,1 fps
1280x1024: 205,1 pfs


Window (in this mode, the grame is perfect, no problems):

640x480: 352,3
800x600: 336,1
1024x768: 310,1
1280x1024: 275,4

Glquake says - Error: VID: Couldn't set video mode: Failed to crate GL context


It really says "crate" not "create".

I assume that the Eee PC is not as fully supported as the AROS Hardware support wiki would lead one to believe? I have Intel 915GM/GMS/910GML Express Graphics Controller, but am able to boot using native graphics mode...

Maybe this is why Quake 3 don't work either?

Seiya_37: Can you make a picture of the split screen? Full screen should work well if you use your desktop resolution.

XDelusion: You need the correct drivers. I'm not sure where to get them, nikolaos or Sami can give you more information. (Look at the previous pages, nikolaos used to have the same problem as you.)

Xdelusion: It is the driver. I will release update to AspireOS on friday. It will work then.

my desktop resolution is 1440x900, however in window is faster than fullscreen :)

Now i know, why it works,and nightly-build version not.
I dont know yet,how to fix it "in the correct way"...
But,I think that version i send you is ok temporary fix.

Thought I was going to have to sell this laptop and buy another one. :)

In the mean time, I presume I can just upadate the driver my self via the latest NIGHTLY?
