This has just been fixed. It should be OK in the next nightly build, or you can take realtek8180.device from a nightly or distro from before December 2016.

ABIv0 as well, right?

Hmm.. I just went to check on aros.org, and the last available nightly build for ABIv0 is 5 days old. Are there issues?

The fix has been applied to ABIv0 too, but IIRC the frequency of its builds has been reduced to weekly because it rarely changes.

I'm testing Usb Wifi Sticks "Netgear WG111 V3", I tried the Realtek8180.device taken from the Nightly Builds 2017-01-23 (ABIv0) that worked well just that at startup I get an error.

that's weird, because after harddisk crash I've just installed AROS nightly 2017-01-23 ABIv0 (same as yours), and the realtek8180.device errors that I got from previous nightlies (2017-01-xx) are gone, but now I get "Privilege violation error" from bsdsocket.library.

With the your script the USB Wifi Sticks WG111 It seems to work well, in the script I had to disable the command "exit"

"Exit" is specific to Icaros. IIRC it's an alias for EndShell, so you can replace it with that.

Exact

@All

Please use 'endshell' to close a shell window, 'exit' is there on Icaros Desktop for pure comfort, but shouldn't be used in scripts. Thank you.

I got the USB interrupt transfer to "work"

https://youtu.be/za7bbo3yrWk

The driver has to be coded to use asynchronous transfers.
As it is now ioreq->iouh_NakTimeout with value of zero will block everything... 0 value is wait for ever for libusb.

On that video I hard coded the nak timeout to be 100mS and I had to tab continuously the keyboard to keep Poseidon happy and not drop the usb device.

Once the driver is made to use async transfers it could be used for native development of other usb devices.

EDIT:

I converted the bulk transfer method to use asyncronous libusb transfers (sort of and not really. it still blocks the calls as iorequests are not queued)

https://youtu.be/l2kxI_BylkQ

I think my Linux setup is dying as my desktop pc shows low battery... :) and it's critical... :)

EDIT:

Now the BULK transfer is truly asynchronous

https://youtu.be/sPrXm0Y71Bo

There's a lot of debug prints enabled to the terminal so it takes a while to read the doom wad file.
