i have seen stuff commented out, or rather ifdeffed out, still wasnt sure which of these prevents vpdf from displaying anything. the gui is basically working, so im not sure if this is zune incompatibility, i have the feeling poppler was taking off, just nothing got displayed, neither on x86 nor 68k, i would have to recheck that.

ok compiled with 4.6.4 (the code needs some fixes for 6.3.0 yet). target amiga-m68k, but it will be the same on x86 afair. trying to open hello.pdf test file:

pdf file opened....
pdf stream created...
document opened....
media_box:40832000,0.
media_box:40832000, 0.
[Listtree] OM_NEW: unhandled 80004001.
[setuprecent] not implemented.

maybe thats some hint, whats missing.

yeah, but maybe neil can look into this..

btw, its due to undeclared MUIM_Menustrip_InitChange. there are other contribs and even classes that work around this, like betterstring, texteditor and nlist. im trying to get it right also for vpdf..

i was at err, the header doesnt offer menustrip for aros, only for aos, it remains also unimplemented, and therefore vpdf fails here:

http://aros.sourceforge.net/introduction/status/menustrip.php

edit: the headers have contained some useful information though, i have borrowed now the aros-overrides.h header from deadwoods aros odyssey repository, where he seems to have gathered these workarounds. thats the second time i refer to there when something zune lacks. and i get vpdf now compile with it.

vpdf still doesnt show anything, and im not sure if menustrip can be fooled like that, but at least i can avoid a portion of vpdf code being ifdeffed out for aros as "unimplemented". lets see, maybe this header solves other ifdefs as well, and vpdf can be made working, though.
