I gave this a try - so the problem is it's constantly buffering and never actually playing?

Cheers,
Nigel.

Hi,

http://www.hwupgrade.it/forum/showthread.php?p=44084106

Just wonder if it some form of streaming support is needed now.

Using HTML5 Test shows 0/5 for streaming.

http://www.quirksmode.org/html5/tests/video.html

Do Chrome or Firefox handle it ?

Jeff

Italian on the link posted by you They talk about a problem that had version 49.0.1 of Firefox, to see the Streaming needed to uninstall the Flash Player, then everything was solved with the next version of Firefox.

Hi amiga,
There is no Flash for OWB (so that can't be the issue) - all OWB streaming is via HTML5, so can the other browsers stream the service just using that rather than Flash?

Cheers,
Nigel.

So previously OWB was playing through HTML5 too. OWB hasn't changed recently, so it's something in their code. I've found a few web-sites I could access in previous times suddenly stop working as expected (e.g. Imgur). Probably their web designers have tried it in one browser (MS's offering or Chrome), it's worked in that so they've though job done, even though in others it's broken.

Cheers,
Nigel.

No RAI Repaly (TV State Italian) has always transmitted videos in "Silverlight" only Publicity in "Flash Video"

I can confirm this because at home I have two Smart TV where on a (Sony Paid 1.500 Euro) i've never seen RAI Replay, Sony has never supported video format "Silverlight", while on the Samsung Smart TV almost every day I see RAI Replay.

If you try to go to RAI Replay advertising before transmission to see while the transmission will not start. As screenshots while ago I managed to see several times but can not remember precisely how OWB version, It should be the first v1.25.

Ultimately it may be that I have caught him by sheer luck a testing period of the RAI, but I do not think so otherwise the RAI as usual would notify users of the change.
