Thanks Allanon, beautiful GUI, to be honest i did not understand how to do the research, you could do a practical example of how to search only for files extensions, or simply just to name, thank you. I reviewed HFinder on all the sites I frequent.

---------------------

Hi @Amiga and thank you for reviewing HFinder :)
To do the research you have to specify a search pattern in the first field in the top "Search for", in the field below you have to specify the folder in which you want to search, then press the large button with the magnifying glass to start the search.
If you press the button with the question mark it will be shown a window with the meaning of the wildcards that can be used in searches.
For example, if you want to search .info files just write the pattern in the first field:
*.info
The buttons at the bottom have different functions, but the most important is the recursive search that you can turn on / off by pressing the switch down to the left, the one with the yellow folder.
The button with the gear allows you to set some preferences, in the window that opens you can also select the Italian language.
If you need more informations just ask :)

Have not tried this program but will soon.
Would be cool to implement something like this in Boing bar (aros program launcher). Not as advanced like this one but just a search engine to launch or find stuff on AROS. Much like in Windows. Could maybe even be if you search for a program and it finds it it could be a button to add it to the boing bar launcher permanent.

But the wanderer (last update) has a command (utility) Find. Maybe is not so perfect :)

Live searching function could be nice but to have an efficient finder you need to index all the files in the system... if a couple of you thinks it could be interesting to have this live searching utility I could give it a try :)

---------------------------------

OK works *Celentano* even without adding the suffix mp3, But there is still a problem in the upper / lower case, if you type *celentano*, "CELENTANO" or other combinations will not find anything. In my opinion, to complete missing two important things who may add in the future, one is the possibility to run the files have been found and the other to be able to drag it out.

Grazie comunque per il lavoro fatto !
