I don't know if you can drag out the files, if I remember correctly the drag and drop is only supported between Hollywood applications.
When it relates to the ability to run the files I could add a window where the user can attach the extensions to applications, for example, you could associate the mp3 to your favorite audio player and add a button to execute them, but this is a bit out of the HFinder functionality which is primarily a tool to search for files.
Alternatively I could give the opportunity to open the folder where the found files are located.

----------------------

Be able to click it is important perhaps to verify or compare the contents of the file, the problem for upper / lower case instead?

Alternatively I could give the opportunity to open the folder where the found files are located.

This I think would be great.

I would like to see something that is like integreated to the system. Maybe the program could launch from wb-startup or as I tought even in the start menu like boing bar, but I guess that would be difficult since you are using Hollywood.

I would donate if we could come up with a good solution I would also make it default for AspireOS.

If the finder could open the location where the files are it is no problem execute them as long as the tooltype or filetype is linked to a player of choise.

@amiga
----------------
Upper/lower case problem: I could add a switch to activate / deactivate the distinction between upper and lower case :)

@sabbate
Thank you very much!

Hollywood has commands to integrate apps into AmiDock, I don't know if BoingBar is compatible... the most realistic implementation are two:
- Run the finder when needed (from any starter, script, etc..)
- Run the finder at startup in hidden mode so that it can run in background indexing stuff, and show it's interface when needed using any method we like (arexx, tcp message, file, ...)

It could be possible to open the file folder, I've to check if OpenURL does the trick

hfinder -search -casesense <1|0> -recursive <1|0> -from <starting_directory> -files <1|0> -directories <1|0> -output <filename> -quiet <1|0>

-search
= pattern to search, default = * -> all files

-casesense <1|0>
1 = Case sensitive, 0 = Insensitive, default = 1

-recursive <1|0>
1 = Recursive search, 0 = Recursion off, default = 0

-from <starting_directory>
Where to start the search, default = current directory

-files <1|0>
1 = Search for files, 0 = Skip files, default = 1

-directories <1|0>
1 = Search for directories, 0 = Skip directories, default = 0

-output <filename>
Saves the search results on the given file name

-quiet <1|0>
1 = No console activity, 0 = Print to the console messages about seacrh in progress

This is just an idea, let me know if it could be ok or if you need more switches :)

@Allanon
