Hi, after some attempt i has been able to set a working network connection,
however i am forced to stop iptable every time before to start AROS but
before that i am forced to run this:

iptables -t nat -A POSTROUTING -o usb0 -j MASQUERADE
sysctl -w net/ipv4/ip_forward=1

then:

/etc/init.d/firewall stop

Before everything:

tunctl -t aros0
ifconfig aros0 192.168.0.20

tunctl is that of busybox. Inside AROS is to set ip to 192.168.0.188 and
gateway to 192.168.0.20 and dns's any working.

No other configurations work. Why could not i simply to stop firewall?

I guess it depends by your linux installation and machine configuration.

Are you sure you have applied all networking concepts correctly? What nic do you have on usb0?

I use "udhcpc -i usb0"... what should i to configure, too?

I relive this topic because i have a problem now with the network, simply i have update slitaz to the latest version but now i notice at boot the following message:

[tap] couldn't perform TUNSETIFF on TAP device (1)
[AROSTCP] OpenDevice: Device or unit failed to open

why?

I have partially solved, the latest busybox version has a more complete tunctl command, so the correct way is:

tunctl -b -u aros -t aros0

where aros is the user i have created to use it.

Unfortunately now i am unable to do a correct firewall configuration.
