hi,

Which joypad do you recommend for playing emulator ? Do you use analog joypad with mupen64 or FPSE ?

I have a "Logitech Precision Gamepad" but it's not fully functional

Thanks

When you say it's not fully function, what is the issue with it? Have you had a look in Poseidon prefs to see how its various buttons are being mapped?

Cheers,
Nigel.

Posiedon is very powerful, but that comes at the expense of being quite complex to set up just right. Anyway, if it's not behaving as you would like it to please do post up and I'll see if I can help.

Cheers,
Nigel.

Maybe is my setup ? By default, when I track incoming events with Trident, all the buttons are working, but with emulator like zsnes, 2 buttons doesn't work (start and select).

I also want changed for an analogue joypad.

This has two parts - configuring Poseidon and configuring the application (in this case zsnes). Poseidon can be configured to produce, on a button press, joystick events, gamepad events or keyboard events. As to zsnes, I've just has a glance at its default configuration and it seems 'start' is configured to the return key and 'select' is RSH, which I presume is right-shift. Poseidon could be configured to generate these as rawkey events when a button on the gamepad is pressed, but it's probably easier to reset these in the zsnes program to be a normal keypress (e.g. 'q') and then Poseidon can simply generate that vanilla key on the button press.

Cheers,
Nigel.
