How to remove linux hosted Icaros?

During my first attempts to install Linux hosted Icaros, I have 3 Icaros directories that I no longer need and I have 1 complete install working fine. When I try to delete the directory, it fails on account of there are several files within that have special ASCII characters in their name and refuse to be deleted or renamed.

Any suggestions?

Please forgive my memory:
- Used distro (could perhaps matter, not sure yet)
- Used Filesystem
- Offending filenames (preferably with full path)

fwiw: filenames that are offending for your host OS should not happen. Sometimes it can be tiresome to get them removed properly.

In case you wish to experiment, you could perhaps try to remove them from AROS side. You can mount about any folder as additional disk to AROS hosted, see also here.

My apologies... I didn't post that much info because it's a common problem I'd always had with Windows and even though I'm running OpenSuse, I must have had a flashback. lol
