I have two Icaros-boxes.. Asus old eeeBox and hp-t5740 with an SSD in it. None of the wireless networks seem to work but that was, of course not expected.
However, I have no luck using good old ethernet either, which suprise me a little (I did try the cable with my laptop.. it's ok)

The network panel - on both of them - suggest a net0 unit with pc32device driver. If I change that to eth0 on the eeebox and choose another driver it tells me "Failed to restart wireless network".

I booted up the HP machine with Linuxmint (horribly slow.. really need to get AROS going on this one ) and this is some info i got

03:00.0 Network controller: Qualcomm Atheros AR928X Wireless Network Adapter (PCI-Express) (rev 01)
04:00.0 Ethernet controller: Broadcom Corporation NetLink BCM57780 Gigabit Ethernet PCIe (rev 01)

Sorry, you have a Broadcom NIC, which we don't have a driver for.

Thanks for answering, and I guess no luck with that Qualcomm atheros either? So I'll switch to the eeebox then, no sound in that one but who needs sound to code.. :)
Maybe the eeebox stands a better chance:

03:00.0 Network controller: Ralink corp. RT2790 Wireless 802.11n 1T/2R PCIe
04:00.0 Ethernet controller: Realtek Semiconductor Co., Ltd. RTL8111/8168/8411 PCI Express Gigabit Ethernet Controller (rev 02)

Ah yes, finally - success! Champagne at last, now I almost have to give that audio card another go, or simply buy me a better suited AROS hardware stack. Atom is not.. the most powerful workhorse.

That's great. Did you use the Realtek NIC?

The Qualcomm Atheros is a similar WiFi chipset to the one we discussed in the Mini-PCI(E) thread, so no luck I'm afraid.

Tell us more about the audio problem. It might just need a tweak somewhere.

Yep, worked like a charm.
The audio is kind of weird, it works when booting up with a Linux pendrive and user origami had no trouble getting it to work with his eeebox.
It might be hardware differences of course but still...

lspci gave me this:

00:1b.0 Audio device: Intel Corporation NM10/ICH7 Family High Definition Audio Controller (rev 02)

Thanks. I followed up in your EeeBox thread (I didn't see it earlier).
