I thought the A150 was just an A110 with a hard drive instead of a tiny SSD. It certainly looks like the same visually when I googled it.

It's been a long time but there was something not the same maybe the wi-fi card. Changing it is not easy as have to remove the motherboard .

I have an AspireOne A150 and I can confirm it's perfectly supported as well.

Then I might buy that one too .. if it's still incredible cheap when the bidding is over two weeks from now. I can always setup an AROS shop if I get bored.

elwis: Even if the ZG5, A110 got quite small storage 8G. I found it is plenty for AROS + it boots, reads (solid state) way faster than any HDD.

hi

I tried aros on one of the latitude C610 is all supported and although the CPU is a pentium 3 to 1 Ghz and only 512 Mb ram is fine, the problem is that it does not have 3D acceleration.

have a good day

Hi Sabbate, thanks for the information, it helps a lot to know what kind of cheap laptops to look for!

yes it's a pentium 3, I have the 1.20 ghz version with 512 mb of ram and I also got a mini pci compatible wifi card, I'm waiting for the update of owb (odyssey) to be able to reuse it better.

Too bad - none of them for sale - or the DELL D520.

Basically all GMA950 based laptops (1st gen. Atom, Pentium/Celeron M or Core Solo/Duo) are well supported.
I had Dell D420, nice little machine (12 inch 1280x800 matte screen).
I replaced intel wifi with atheros 5k (no bios flashing required). D620, D820 and newer models (Core2 Duo) should work fine too, not sure about 3D graphics though (GMA3100).
