This seams little interesting. Would it be difficult to compile for AROS?

Could be nice to be able to run som Win. 98 software like office etc.
Not to talk about games :)

I believe Dosbox has 3D support.
If Dosbox-x has support for 3D then I like it.

http://dosbox-x.com indicates that all pre2000 hardware configurations are the goal. I see no exceptions for 3D acceleration.

You can already run Win9x and Win9x software on AROS Dosbox.

It's been that way since day 1.

Surprised you've not seen me running Open Office, Half-life and Unreal Tournament on them yet actually. Ive been using them on AROS for years.

The only real differences between Dosbox-X and Dosbox is "X" has 3dfx support and can handle harddrive images up to 2GB.
AROS Dosbox has no 3dfx support and only supports hdd images up to 480MB. Apart from that they're pretty much identical.
Ive actually got a build with the 3dfx support, but I couldnt get it to work. I think it was a guest os problem though rather than Dosbox, but I dont know for sure.
