its not too early to gather experience in compiling applications even though they might have to be recompiled at later time.

its not too early to check if the sources are still compilable, eventually fix them up and gather them somewhere for later use.

Yes, Thx I follow the guides.
If I want to compile inside AROS abi v.1 i386 I have to install Linux 32-bit right?
Can not run AROS i386 hosted on Linux x64?

No. Linux x86_64 will run the hosted 32bit version fine, so long as the 32bit support libs it uses are installed.

Its always better to use the 64bit host.

Depends which host OS you use. usually you add .i686 or :i686 to the package name. Google will tell you if you have any doubts...

I was refering to linux/bsd/windows "hosts".

Though, ofcourse AROS 64bit could generate 32bit binaires, so long as you compile binutils/gcc to do so (and provide appropriate headers).
