I'm out of ideas on how to raise more funding for TeamAROS bounties. I would love some new input on how to do it.

I thought it was to complicated when I was into it. Maybe a simple bank account in each country would simplify it.

And I also beleave the community will get more enthusiastic when AROS is user-ready for HD installation. (I know about installer bounty) Right now I´m just keeping updated like most AROS user wannabes.

I don't know about the nightly ISOs, but AROS-Max installed on to a native system with zero problems. I want to see a easy multi-boot between different OSs, but if you just want a stand alone OS install, AROS-Max does it just fine.

If I had a spare PC I would install AROS on it. But now Im just waiting for Installer mk2 and arosMAX 050.
But back to the point....I would spend money on bounties if I just could transfer to a normal swedish bank account.
Maybe someone in sweden could set up an account and than transfer the money to the bounties in the donators name.
Does anyone agree?

For European bank transfer, see Holley.

You wanted to know how to get more funding? Do not reply like that.

Sorry for that sentence, but first of all it should not be necessary to contact certain people to be able to contribute.

There should be an easy way to contribute. A good documented webpage that really explains how to pay. A PayPal account should also be part of it. Also donating to specific bounty should be easy.

Select bounty
Enter amount
Enter name

And that should it be,

Regards,

Holger

I agree with HBox.
We get all AROS-related informations whith the help of internet, and it would be logical for us to be able to make donations in such an easy way. Paypal would permit it, no matter if a (little?) part of the amount make their profit, it would be better than NOTHING. And until something is done, i think a lot of europeans possible contributors do nothing because it is not easy and not quick.
Such a web way to contribute would perhaps permit to propose new ideas of bounties as long as it is done whith an amount of money to motivate developpers... and the principle of bounties is cool to concentrate their efforts whithout having many of them doing the same work.

This is just a suggestion, but if everyone were in agreement why not ask for a small voluntary contribution to be made (via PayPal for example) when the new release of ArosMax comes out.It could be pointed out that all monies received would go to cover bandwidth and Aros bounties.
This is only the same as what most Linux distributions do.
