I have read that AROS runs under FreeBSD, so it should be not too difficult to make it run under NetBSD as well. Did anybody try it? Is it possible?

I have not tried on NetBSD. The hosted version of AROS compiles on FreeBSD 5.x. There are include issues with FreeBSD 4.x, which you might have a similar problem with NetBSD (I had similar problems with DragonflyBSD). There was at some point some support in AROS for NetBSD, but I am not sure at what level as I was not involved in the AROS project at the time.
Whatever NetBSD support there is/was is in: AROS/arch/.unmaintained/all-netbsd If I get around to it I'll try to build a crosscompiler for netbsd and see if I can compile NetBSD-Hosted target. ![]()
