Is it possible to get AROS to compile under NetBSD ?
I keep getting an error "Operating system not supported"

It looks like there was an undertaking at some point to port AROS to NetBSD. From looking in:
AROS/arch/.unmaintained/all-netbsd
it doesn't look like it got very far, but it is a BSD operating system, so a lot of stuff from FreeBSD could be incorporated, but not any ASM as that was a 68K port. There is however a reference to NetBSD being supported on our outdated FAQ, so it may have worked at one time. Someone more knowlegeable may be able to fill you in.
