Well, if redirecting the output to files in ENV: (f.ex. <command> >ENV:VARIABLE) is not legal, I can't think of a way to assign a variable the output of a command. So, is it legal?

Just consider it is legal (IMHO).

Tried the game now.
looks nice.
I run AROS native, and had no problems unpacking or running the game.

Good job :D

Nice to hear. What about the menu music? Did it stutter?

Hello,

Music is ok here, no or very un-noticeable stutters.
However, I have issues when I set BOH to full screen, the colors are going bad and the display is going out of screen.
Also when going back to windowed more, the display is black and white and wrongly centered.

It's anyhow nice to see new developement coming to AROS.

Yannick

mmm... I've noticed a strange thing: AROS itself doesn't seem to support 32-bit screens (at least, the modes listed in the Screenmode preferences don't go beyond 24-bit), but, when asked to open 32-bit screens/windows SDL does return the requested resource (this surprised me a bit, indeed). I guess the problems you experienced may have something to do with this (well, also because BOH includes no AROS-specific code). What graphics card are you using? Can you try using generic VGA drivers (which work perfectly under VMware here)?
I'm new to AROS, so I can't really say what's going on. Can anybody enlighten me/us, please?

Erm, sorry, but "Simone" is masculine in Italian (for the record, "Simona" is feminine)...

The sound was not perfect, but ok.
The sound problem is common in most AROS SDL ports.
I hope it can be fixed soon, cause it's important that it's working correct.

Uhm... personally I don't find feel like releasing the game if it's got this sort of problems. Maybe I should wait for better libraries to become available.
