I'm running Icaros on a Thinkpad, but an older model, I believe a G41, it is a single core P4, and it runs absolutely fine. Sound network, screen etc everithing is working fine. Installation went, with its biblic times, smooth.
ciao

Tried AROS on my Lenovo ThinkPad T60 (100% Intel Inside)
VESA is fine for the Graphics (Intel), but no network or sound. I don't expect anybody to fix this but if someone has the same hardware they can expect problems with these two. *LAN* Vendor Name: Intel Corporation Product Name: 82573L Gigabit Ethernet Controller VendorID: 0x8086 ProductID: 0x109a *SOUND* Vendor Name: Intel Corporation Product Name: 82801G (ICH7 Family)High Definition Audio Controller VendorID: 0x8086 ProductID: Ox27d8

T60, looking here http://www.thinkwiki.org/wiki/AD1981HD, disabling the modem can interfere with the audio. As well as wireless. Maybe you can try?
Didn't diskdoctor have a conexant codec? and was looked at. Sorry different codec: Conexant CX20549. T61 - AD1984JCP/HD codec. This codec business is a problem... Understanding how much work DavyAE is putting into this... Thanks for the information Jeff.

I tested Davys newest driver, but no luck. Sashmi tells me there's a codec problem. Davy, I e-mailed a screenshot for you to have a quick look at.
Anyway thanks for the tip Jeffery, but my problem could not be solved with modem disabling.
