I tried this right now and it's exactly like you said: music doesn't work, but sound fx does, no timidity and everything works like before (same high scores, settings etc). Now I can't wait for you to fix the music :)

This is interesting. I've just tried clicking on the old icon as well in order to play the version that has music but ask for timidity.

And it works perfectly. It got music but don't ask for timidity at all. In other words, it seems that you fixed all problems somewhere unexpectedly,

HarmonyPlayer also needs Timidity to be assigined to play .midi files and its simple you dont want midi files played via HP and no timidity request than

I can not boot vga to try and never passes the loading Ri-li via vesa boot so notsure how to produce what you are getting on on my side and works perfectly fine on my IntelGMA and tryed with latest nighty on my AcerAsipre One D150 and EeePc900 icaros 1.5...

Of course, I thought that was the point :)

But it does seem to have fixed all the problems, since the slightly older version works with music too. And it doesn't seem to affect any other programs as well. HP still works as usual for example.

Sometimes the full-screen hangs on startup, but windowed mode always seem to work in vesa mode (just leave the mouse alone) . And it indeed seems vesa only.

Thanks for your efforts for trying. Perhaps better leave it alone until someone else can confirm. Not much to go on when only one person can report these issues.

@magorium please try this as i changes few things from org code and i hope with this version you should play witout anyproblem on vasa mode is well...

I call this more aros friendly version than org version i port.
