Hello !

Strangely it seems grub was not updated when I ran LiveUpdate via a downloaded ISO in ICAROS.

So when I try to choose one of the boot options, all I get is "<something> not found errors".

What do I do ? Download the full Icaros 1.2.3 and reinstall ?
Seems the iso based update worked the second time.

When I first tried LiveUpdate the computer crashed immediately after having downloaded the ISO.

Im on an ASUS nForce 2 board with Nvidia FX5500.

And another thing, on 1.2.2 Wookiechat crashed the display and computer (garbled graphics) when launched.

EDIT: Come to think of it, I got an error about some prefs in the end of the supposedly ok second install. Can this have caused Grub not to be updated (?)

I know the wookiechat version on 1.2.2 was bad.
I hope Paolone changed the version for 1.2.3

Yeah, the strange thing is that it only happens, or only always, im not sure, on the Nvidia driver , I think the topmost option on Grub boot.

Since i have updated my system from Icaros 1.2.2 to 1.2.3 the keyboard (PS/2) is not working when there is not a PS/2-mouse plugged in.
Usually i use a wireless USB-mouse and a PS/2-keybord, so after updating the keys didn't work anymore. If i want to use this setup, i have to plug in a PS/2-mouse additionally now.
To me it's strange, but it solved the issue. And i can play around right- and lefthanded with two mice now!

got problem installing icaros 1.2.3 on my Thinkpad trough LiveUpdater from iso.
Couldn't boot prpoerly afterwards. Investigating the directory Devs was almost empty, the subdirectories were in place, but just some of the files were there.
I copied manually the missing files and it went fine. Not being sure all the files were in place I tryied again liveupdater obtaining the same problem.

Well, I haven't yet got round to try AROS or the Nvidia 6200A on the K7N2 again yet.. but i did notice i'd forgotten to attach jumpers to the Audio header on the mainboard, resulting in no audio getting output in windows either... D'oh.

Having done that and got Windows sound working, I realise I really should know better. I'm sure AROS audio will work on it now, but i won't have the chance to test it for a fortnight.
