I have problems with ytmon now.
When it try to stream a video, m-player say idle ? Did youtube change something ?

I never got it to work properly but you could try copying the link directly into mplayer's stream load.
I don't think anything is wrong with ytmon because it just sends a link to mplayer. I think something is wrong with mplayer that it's not streaming things the way it should. That's my guess anyway.

Talked with Fab1 now. They broke anything (scripts/programs/sites) that rely on direct link extraction
Fab1 told me there is still a way around it: http://fabportnawak.free.fr/owb/scripts/YouTube.js

I guess that is always the risk with this sort of work around. You are at the mercy of youtube. I'll take a look over the weekend and also at that java script.

Larious: there seams to be a easy way around our problem.
The nice Fab1 told me it was only to add: "&asv=" parameter to the direct link url

Thanks Nikolaos (and thanks Fab1). Saved me a lot of work. Tested and recon it is working with that extra parameter. Uploaded new version which should be ready soon.
