I have installed icaros on a LAN Party UT 250Gb board (nforce2) 2Gb ram, a Radeon 9200 (least i think its 9200) and Audigy card. (see next post for output of PCITool)

Most stuff appears to be working after slight tweaks.
Graphics with Radeon driver.
Network with nforce driver.
Sound.

problems;
Fuse is unplayable as it runs at 1700%! Also the display becomes corrupt. this is the same with Arnold and some other emus.

Sound; cant get mp3 to play in arosamp (no sound) or mplayer - again its running far to fast.

Video; mplayer plays far to fast.

can any one help me out with these issues?

Do you get sound in AHI prefs? I'm not sure if there's a driver for that sound card. If that's the case, selecting a dummy/void sound driver might help with graphics running too fast IIRC.

Video/audio/emu is now at the correct rate. not sure if this was due to moving the PCI card to a different slot as the hints above didn't help.

The test sound in AHI prefs plays (and played before) with both the audigy and with a proper EMU10k card - which i have replaced it with.

However mplayer refuses to play audio - the test mp3 wont play now and the test video has no audio.

The TB-303 app in Extras does work and outputs sound!!

SOLVED!

"you'll have to set the "AC97" audio drivers in prefs for music, unit0, unit1..." - from the icaros desktop manual.

I fixed this by selecting the emu10kx stero driver for music, unit0, unit1 and so on.
