Hi,
Here's my new arosbox project : ![]() The specs are : athlon 2800+ (overclocked to a 3000+) 2gb ram 7200tr/min harddrive geforce 7600gt 256mb (agp) The photo is (for now) a gimp fake : I still have to paint the boing ball, and I'm currently working on configuration too. THe machine will dual boot into linux TangoStudio (special low latency kernel for music creation) and Icaros. Icaros will be the master OS (booting automatically). @Saimon : I believe there is a merchandising aros shop somewhere, where I could buy a mouse pad if needed ;)

You would make me a very happy man if you could send me your sticker design to me! Preferably in png :D I'm working on some designs myself and I think your work would go very nicely together with mine ;)

Ah, no no no, I meant your AROS designs ;)
Oh, and your two amiga-"a" also. So I don't have to make them myself.

The "a" key is just a Georgia font in italic bold ! The outlined version is just the same georgia italic bold font, with white color and black border.
The other graphics (except the boing ball wich is just a mockup for now) are available on aros website. Since it's SVG (vectors) you can modify them easily with INkscape. No rocket science here ;)

Update : Currently working on the hardware configuration.
This computer will be focused on 2 purposes : 1) Icaros native machine (one harddrive. The computer will have to boot on Icaros, until I choose another boot option in grub. Mainly used for "hobby computing" (testing new aros stuff, etc...), emulation, and creation lab : grafx2, lodepaint (pixel art) Milkytracker, protrekkr (chiptune) 2)linux music/dev machine (another harddrive). It will be used first for music production, with Renoise and MIXXX on it. Later it will be used for (I hope so) devellopement and creation : games (game editor if one day a aros compiler appears, or, I hope one day, Xamos) art production (gimp 2.8, inkscape 0.48, MTpaint) For hardware, on aros side I'll use ac97 driver. On linux side, a audigy 24bit sound card (wich I don't think can be supported in aros). Both will use supported nvidia 7600gt. Both will use 7200/min hardrives (80gb on linux side, 40gb on aros side). Now I need a molex double plug, because I don't have enough power supply plugs available. I hope I'll be able to setup everything this week end.

There is a small chance your Audigy card will work in Aros. AC97 driver = no recording (but since you're in chiptunes you won't need to record samples as Milkytracker has built-in synth able to generate nice bleeps). Renoise +1

Yes Renoise is an incredible piece of software !
Concerning recording on ac97, no problem, I don't want to use it ;) I don't think audigy will work (completly diferent chip than SB live, I believe).
