install the linux drivers X11, ahi, hostfilesystem and file in sys:boot.
You would need to download hosted version found here: http://aros.sourceforge.net/download.php linux-i386-system Then just copy over files from aspireos. Would you like me to make a hosted aspireos version, where everything will be ready ? [20:29:52] aros-bsp-linux [20:30:21] [20:31:03] AROSBootstrap.conf... To run ./boot/AROSBootstrap Thx Olivier for the info.

I'd like to do this too. Under Fedora 16. But I don't understand the procedure.

I have tested to install Aros Linux hosted (nightly build) on Kubuntu. It really very fast and Linux hosted versions could become alternatives for people that have unsupported hardware.
It is fast, much faster than the hosted versions on windows. There are still some questions from me: There is no sound. I read that is because there is no OSS. Is there a solution for this? I started Doom but it did not recognize the keyboard. Is there something I can do? Preferences? I think Linux hosted distributions would add a lot of hardware-support (and potential users)

Use Ubuntu 10.04 or older. Alternatively recompile kernel.
