@beezle, I'm sure Olaf would be very interested in a 680x0 build for AROS Vision! I'd also like the binary to add to SourceForge, if possible.

I'd also be interested in a 680x0 AROS (ELF) build, and possibly an OS 3.1 HUNK build too, if anyone is interested. Unfortunately I lack the build chains to do that myself.

XAMOS 0.25 has implemented per-pixel collision detection, however this has not yet been optimised or fully tested.
As well as AROS and MorphOS, it has also been ported to OS4: http://youtu.be/GEIzhYh99l4

I next plan to look at implementing multi-screen support using SDL. And also an editor, perhaps as an external program (AROS might need one specially written). This could later be extended with features such as syntax colouring, etc.

I'll look at improving the core language (with e.g. syntax error detection and full AMOS syntax) over the next year.
For the meantime I'd rather concentrate on some more AMOS graphics/sound functionality with SDL.

Mequa

Update: XAMOS 0.26 is now available including for AROS, now featuring multiple screen support, improved collision detection and more.

It would be nice to see a 680x0 build of the new version. I'm also getting it compiled for OS4.

I am preparing a bigger update of Aros Vision now with a number of nice additions. I would like to integrate XAMOS in it if available

I am right now working on a new version of "Aros Vision" that I will publish next week. One highlight I can already announce is that it will include Opus Magellan as additional desktop. So when I get Xamos for 68k in the next days (till next weekend) I will integrate it too.

XAMOS 0.27 is now out, if anyone wishes to build this for 68k. Note the build options have changed.

XAMOS 0.28 is now out, including an experimental OpenGL frontend and improved rainbow support. Freshly built for AROS/x86.

To test OpenGL, use:
> XAMOS -useopengl

As usual, XAMOS is available from:
http://sourceforge.net/projects/xamos/files/

P.S. Any plans to update the version included in Icaros Desktop?
