Looking for some .a library under Aros 68k (& Aros PPC) |

Hello,
I'm really new to AROS and I'd like to port one of my project from AmigaOS4/MorphOS to AROS but .. it have some dependencies and, I've surfed over the net without finding valuable answer... I use AmiDevCPP for the cross compilation of my project and it helped me a lot. To tests, I can use an AROS 68k setup under WinUAE. In fact my project uses OpenGL (so I uses libGL.a, libGLU.a & libGLUT.a ( -lGL -lGLU & -LGLUT). It also uses freetype and FTGL ( -lFTGL -lfreetype ) Are there some recent port of these library for AROS ? Any SDK I Can Download and Install in my AmyDevCPP Configuration ? Thank you for your fast answer. There are already devpack for Aros PPC/i386/x86_64. Thank you for these SDK. Yes FTGL & FreeType exist for AmigaOS4 & MorphOS ... Maybe I can try porting them. Concerning OpenGL Any info ? Everything in the SDK ? And more, I have seen in your link there is an SDK for Sam440EP ? Is it for Acube Systems motherboard ? Can it be installed in parallel with AmigaOS4 on a Sam440EP (& Sam440EP Flex) board ? Thank you.

I don't know if this will help, but on Aros x86 there is -lfreetype2 which is used instead of -lfreetype.
Also for ftgl you might check with kas1e_ar. http://kas1e.mikendezign.com/ftgl1_aros.jpg

For OpenGL & glut Aros just need to compile with -LGL -LGLUT or -LGLUT -LGL : dont remenber but order seems important

I'll ask Kas1e for his FTGL AROS port. Thellier. Ok. No need like AmigaOS4 to have -DMINIGL :p Olafs3 : Interesting, Freetype2 is included. Will check for a port of FTGL, or, to port it manually if I manage to compiles it ... I'm not really familiar with makefile system ... Thank you all for your answers.

FTGL should be very easy, it was part of many port I did and as far as I remember only needs to be build with "make"

I tried to compile ftgl 2.1.3rc5 for Aros, AmigaOS3.x and MorphOS ... without success
I'm not familiar with MAKEFILE(s). I Use AmiDevCPP and I don't care about Makefile ... the job is already done .. Can someone help because I will not be able to compile FTGL for Aros (any versions 68k, PPC, etc ...), for AmigaOS3.x, for MorphOS... :( I already have version for AmigaOS4. Thank you for your help.
