It|s quite useful nice !

A small suggestion thou, would be to present the Hex letters as capital letters.

atleast to me "1f" does look wierd instead of "1F" or "ff" instead of "FF". and on the numeric "clickpad" they are capital letters...

Perhaps a name ? clickCalc or clickpad calculator ?

You guys are right, I have to dub this calculator and find an icon, that's the boring part of the whole thing so I'm pushing it at "another day"

Concerning float/double: yes, that's true. I will try to convert to double, but there's a lot of subtle issues that will arise.

Also, thanks droopy for that little by meaningful suggestion.

I would not mind larger (or bold) characters on the buttons, if it does not harm the good looks of the calc.

Just one more percentage problem, Google says 3^2% = 1.02221541 (not 9.00).

Also if I store the value 1000.1 into memory, the calculator is a little off and returns 1000.099976 when recalled.

If I store 10.10 into memory, most calculators will remove any unneeded zeros (and return 10.1). Your calculator seems to add zeros (and return 10.100000). Of course that's not a bug, but a bit different than other calculators.

This calculator is coming along nicely. I would agree that doubles would be better, since people may use your calc instead instead of the system calculator which is not fully functional atm.

@cavemann

thanks for your time! I will put in the queue those bugs.

The problem with the .000000 is the standard behaviour of the printf(), I will find all the occurences where I use it and trim the useless zeroes.

Hello. If you find a way to truncate the zeros or numbers after the comma. Perhaps it could be an "accuracy" option to be able to select the number of trailing digits after the comma ?

Then be a rascal and change it

Here are all the format specifiers, and here some practical explanation and examples (might be that not all are implemented in aros though, as there have been some issues in the past with printf with regards to floats and format sepcifiers).

Strange that it default to printing 6 precision digits as i can't seem to remember being it that way.

The %f format specifier for the printf() function family has some issues on Aros (I've already reported this); if time allows I'd like to have a look at it myself. Because of this, currently the D(bug()) macro is useless at best and confusing at worst.

I don't remember where I've read about this, but that's the way it works, try this:

#include
int main(void)
{
float f = 1;
printf("%f\n", f);
return 0;
}

Ok, let me be very, very, very , very (did i say very already ? ) clear on this one: Never use a urban dictionary of dubious quality .

The meaning of the word rascal i intend(ed) to refer to is this, this and this.

What kind of people are so screwed up that they completly change the meaning of words . Life is confusing enough as it is

So whatever you had pictured in your mind, please erase it and watch that movie. Although i do fear now that everytime you watch that movie your mind thinks of obscene things

Or were you just pulling my leg here ?
