Just downloaded.

First note: the zip does not have top directory, so if I use ZuneArc it will extract all files in the directory where there the .zip archive is present (so can lead to mess). I would love to have a drawer with icon :) Will share more after some testing.

Works as it should - got ROM, waited, clicked play and voila!

More comments:

- When ROM is found is it an option not to download all art? Or just download 1-2? I got Super Marios Bros ROM and was waiting for at least a minute to download all the art. I wanted to play NOW!!!!

- Where can I learn the controller settings of the emulator? Again Super Marios Bros, it took me several minutes to find that jump is under "3" on numerical keyboard!! I wanted to play NOW!!! Maybe display some screen shot with controller key binding at least for the first 5-10 times a given emulator is started?

One more thing: it would be good for the EmuLa window to remember its size/position between sessions.

There actually is no risk. I tested the free version and found it solved a problem I always had. Also I think 15 euro for a lifetime license is cheap , considering how much more work it will be to add other systems in future.

Thank you all for trying EmuLa! :)

Yes, you are right: just added to my todo list :)

Ok, when the user starts a scan process EmuLa have to ask if he want to download game art, so if he is in a hurry or just want to play quickly this should resolve the problem :)

deadwood:

My plan is to centralize controls configurations, I mean that the user defines the controls in EmuLa and EmuLa, silently, modify emulators controls. Anyway you are right, I must show the current controller settings :)

Thank you very much! :)

Yes, I will add it.

Hi,

Tried running update today, but it failed with "Uknown server error" on database and change log download.

EDIT: It worked after a couple of restarts.
